Ethics teaching in research in education: Analysis of training programs in scientific research and the relevance of monographs produced in Angola; [Ensino da ética na pesquisa em educação: Análise dos programas de formação em investigação científica e a relevância nas monografias produzidas em Angola]; [Enseñanza de la ética en la investigación en educación: Análisis de los programas de formación en investigación científica y la relevancia en las monografías producidas en Angola]

The aim of this article was to analyze the relevance of ethics teaching in research, expressed in the curricular programs of scientific investigation, and the observance of ethical principles in teaching degree monographs from three Higher Education Institutions in Angola. When starting from the comparison between the regulations on curricular harmonization and the programs, there is a misalignment and, in the programs, the absence of guidance regarding the ethics teaching. In identifying ethical principles, generally, they are limited to the objective of the research, who will carry it out, the confidentiality and the anonymity, principles stated and verified in some monographs and in others just stated without being observed, which allows to signal the need for a deep reflection on teaching and the importance of ethics in the investigation process and the creation of a code of ethics that regulates all research activity. © 2023 Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa, Editora.
